Dewees Island allows up to four partners per share, and this home has one partner selling half the house (two quarter shares). Each quarter pays approximately $2500 per quarter– or $10,000 annually. If you’re not going to be a full time resident of the island, this is a great way to have full owner benefits, two weeks a month, for half the costs. And this house has the most incredible porch right on the marsh with great sunset views!
With great views of the marsh, sunsets, and storms moving across the mainland, 262 Old House Lane was built with a nod to the beach cottages of previous generations. With a wide wraparound porch facing the marsh and a gracious entryway in the front of the home, it provides seamless transitions to outdoor living.
The huge entryway provides a generous foyer within the screens to kick off your flip flops or set your beach towels before the front door.
Inside, a great room with a great open floor plan is anchored by the fireplace at one end, with a dining area at the other.
It’s a room designed for comfortable barefoot relaxation with little fuss.
